You sat quietly, your head resting against the side of the building you reclined against. You were waiting for your elder brother to come out of some random store in some random mall that didn't seem to exist. So here you waited for what seemed like hours for your derpy brother to come back. The streets were busy and you couldn't help but feel bothered as many people looked at you as if you were homeless. That was just rude. Meanwhile, some guy kept on looking at you and then when you looked up to glare at the man, he just kept up his staring. Strange, usually people couldn't handle your evil glare of death.
"What did he fly all the way to Canada to go buy some Canadian bacon???" you huffed angrily.
You got up and made your way down the sidewalk, dodging annoying couples, barking dogs, and just bothersome little kids. You rolled your eyes. Typical. Your brother was standing in front of a stand selling caramel rice krispy treats. Mentally facepalming, you went back to where you'd been sitting for the past, what, three hours. How long could it take to get one stupid rice krispy treat? Unless he bought a lot
or an army of caramel rice crispy treats.
You turned your head. That man who had been staring at you was hovering just behind you. It almost was like no one noticed him, how everyone just ran him over like a bulldozer. Curse your sweet, giving personality. Your dodged all the scary people in suits and crazy attire and took the guys hand. You dragged him to safety, making your way back to the little relaxing area where you'd been waiting for your bro.
You looked at the man and realized he wasn't as manly as you thought he was. His features were rather delicate and his blond hair looked soft. You were tempted to touch it, but then planned against it because that would just be plain awkward. His cheeks were strangely pinkish and you strained your eyes trying to figure out if he was blushing or wearing blush.
"You okay?" You said. "Those creeps were just running you over like they didn't see you!"
"S-s-sorry." He said in this stutter-y voice.
"What are you apologizing for???" you said. "There's no need to say sorry. I just didn't want your face to get crushed or something."
His cheeks turned pinker. Yup, he was definitely blushing not wearing blush. You took a second to comprehend this. You were still holding his hand too. A small smile danced on your lips as you looked at the guy. You pulled your hand away and smiled innocently.
"I'm (First name) (Last name), but you can call me (first name)!" you said.
"I'm Matthew Williams." He said, his confidence seeming to grow, yet his voice was still barely audible.
"C'mon, Mattie!!!" you said. "I'm sure you can speak louder than that! Wait, I can call you Mattie right?"
He nodded. You snatched up his hand and walked forward, gently dragging him along. Looking back at his face, you grinned at him again. He was pretty cute looking, and even if your idiot brother didn't approve, you were gonna be his friend. He also seemed very into you and that might even mean you might end up more.
Oh, you could just imagine having him as your boyfriend and helping him out of his shell!
